HI! I'm Rasa Braswell, head of marketing for Guero's Pallets. I'm a current college freshman at Malcolm X! I'm studying to become a child psychologist, to help make a difference in the community. I went to Chiarts, a high school for the performing arts. I love art and creative expression making this a fun & sustainable job. 3 of your greatest strengths
Well...I love art, I'm very big on being a perfectionist. Though it doesn't mean I dislike feedback. And I guess that's also the third thing; I welcome constructive criticisms.
3 of your favorite hobbies
I love casual video editing. I'm far from a professional though. Fun hardware crafts, and decoration for special occasions, and story/scriptwriting.
3 of your favorite things to eat
Fruit smoothies, I love the strawberry banana flavors, but recently I started loving mango drinks as well. classic milkshakes, and a good hearty dinner with meat, potatoes, and greens.
What is something new you learned about pallets?
Being able to connect with other companies and learn about the environmental benefits of a wood pallet. I've still plenty of things to learn though!
What is a challenge of being a marketing director in the pallet industry?
Despite loving the job and being able to see all the potential pallets have. The pallet industry just isn't something that average everyday people seem to know about. Making pallets attractive is one of my main challenges as a marketing director.
